• Mrs. Dobbins received some very pretty flowers and a special card from the Life Skills class for Principal's Day on May 1.

  • Senior Ryland Gentry received the DAR award for Coleman High School.

    The Captain William Buckner chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution have selected the DAR Good Citizens for Coleman County. The DAR selects one student from each of the Coleman County Schools as a student who exemplifies the qualities of character, service, and patriotism in their schools and community. 

    The Coleman High School student winner is Ryland Gentry. Ryland participates in football and has been named All-District MVP, as well as all-state his junior & senior years.  In basketball, Ryland has been academic all district for four years, as well as 1st team all district his junior and senior years.  Ryland was named 1st team All-State in baseball and he also participates in golf and track.  Ryland is a member of the Coleman High School National Honor Society, FCA, student council, and FFA.  He is a member of Concho Baptist Church.
